Autism Eastern Cape held its AGM last night and would like to say a warm welcome to the following committee members for 2014: Lottie de Vries, Chantel Snyman, Andrea Thomas, Bennita Steenekamp, Zeidie-Lee Muller, Nadeema Jansen, Michele Beadon, Zintle Thomson, Jana Heath, Tine Joubert, Dr Maggie Williams.
We thank our former committee members willing to be re-elected: Michael Bain, Wanita McGrath, Dr Danny Ah Hing, Alan Buttrum, Veronica Ndabeni, Gillian McAinsh, Alexis McFarland, Natalie Wilmot, Joan Jorritsma, Colin McAll, Sheryn Tennant, Nolene Thompson.
The office bearers for 2014 are: Joan Jorritsma (chair), Natalie Wilmot (co vice-chair), Alexis McFarland (co vice-chair), Gillian McAinsh (secretary), treasurer: to be announced.
The first meeting of the 2014 committee will be on April 14, at 5.30pm, at 254 Main Road, Walmer when the committee will discuss the new sub-committees: Education, Fundraising, Adult Care and Outreach.
